Grote Knip and Jumping Bakers

Marilyn enjoyed walking on the coral sand beach at Grote Knip also known as Playa Abou in Papiamento.

It was a short drive from where we were staying at Playa Lugun and seems to be very popular with both tourists and locals. Arriving early and then leaving before the crowds arrive is a good idea. Plus it cost $1 to use the restrooms.

The swim out to dive the reef was a long one but well worth it even with pneumonia.

There is a block wall overhanging the water that makes a great jumping in spot. One of these days the whole thing will topple into the sea as the rock is cracked all the way across the top and down both sides.
